Lamborghini Unveils the Revuelto SV: A 1,050-HP Hybrid Track Weapon

Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has officially launched the highly anticipated Revuelto SV, a limited-edition hybrid masterpiece producing a staggering 1,065cv (approximately 1,050 horsepower). Unveiled on Friday, this flagship V12 machine represents the pinnacle of performance and aerodynamics in the brand’s storied SV (Superveloce) lineage, with production strictly limited to just 1,963 units starting at a base price of $741,172.

Engineering Excellence and Hybrid Power

At the heart of the Revuelto SV lies a revised hybrid-electric powertrain combining a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors and a newly optimized battery package. According to Alessandro Farmeschi, product line director for the Revuelto, the goal was to achieve the ultimate “quantum of driving” where car and driver become one. The enhanced battery increases energy capacity by 7.3kWh, ensuring consistent high-performance delivery across the track while allowing for roughly 15 kilometers (10 miles) of silent, electric-only driving.

Advanced Aerodynamics and Extreme Downforce

To harness its immense power, Lamborghini engineers extensively utilized carbon fiber throughout the chassis, front bumper, rear wing, and racing seats, achieving an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.66 kg/CV. The redesigned aerodynamics deliver an astonishing 80 percent increase in overall downforce, with the front-end enhancements alone providing a 100 percent increase in front downforce. This allows the supercar to rocket from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 2.4 seconds, matching the acceleration metrics of the exclusive Fenomeno.

Cutting-Edge Braking and Pilota Mode

Stopping power has been drastically upgraded via the new CCM-R Plus braking system featuring thicker, larger-diameter discs with radial cooling holes to withstand extreme track stress. Furthermore, Lamborghini introduces the innovative Pilota mode, inspired by its GT racing program. Using a six-dimensional sensor located in the center tunnel, the system dynamically adjusts stability controls and traction across five customizable levels, giving drivers ultimate precision and control on any circuit.
